WHAT HAPPENS DURING PRP INJECTIONS ?
During your consultation with Dr. Lee, you will discuss the results you are looking for, which will allow him to curate a plan adjusted to your specific needs. The actual treatment will usually take less than an hour. The procedure begins with Dr. Lee drawing blood from your arm (normally 1-2 tubes).
He will then place the tubes in a machine to separate your plasma. As the machine works, Dr. Lee may apply a numbing cream to the target areas. Once that has taken effect, Dr. Lee will inject your plasma back into the target areas. Once the areas have been injected, the procedure is complete. There may be some swelling or soreness, but this is usually mild. Most patients are able to return to work the following day.
